Design Process ]

Step 1: Consultation

Begin by scheduling your 1 hour initial consultation. We'll then send you a questionnaire via email that should be completed prior to your consultation. This is a vital piece of our design process to help us get to know you and tell your story. During the in-home consultation, we will discuss your style preferences and needs, timeline, budget, and determine the design package that is best for you. It's okay if you don't know how to describe your style. Your designer will walk you through the entire process!

Step 2: Choose and Pay

We have a design package that is suitable for solving just about any design related dilemma. Choose one that fits your budget, skill level, and needs. Let your designer know which package(s) you have chosen and you will receive your invoice via email, which can also be paid securely online.

Your designer can only begin working on your designs after your payment has been received.  Your package(s) are a one-time flat fee. You can choose to add additional services or upgrade at any time during your design process. Design packages do not include materials or installation costs.  Your initial design concepts will be emailed to you within 15 business days from the date of your payment.*

*Business days are defined as M-F and do not include any federal holidays or published closings.

Step 3: Follow-Up

Your designer will send your design concepts and floor plans via email. When you have had time to view the initial designs, you will be asked to schedule a follow up call get your feedback and discuss any requested revisions.  Revisions typically take 5-7 business days to complete, depending on the size of the project.

Step 4: Selection Meetings

Once the design concepts are finalized, it's time to schedule selection meetings to choose finishes for your space. You may choose to meet your designer at a local retailer, or your designer can bring samples to you.  Selections for all new construction/renovation projects may include:

  • Tile

  • Flooring

  • Cabinetry + Hardware

  • Countertops

  • Colors

  • Fixtures

  • Mirrors

  • Lighting

  • Millwork

  • Architectural Features

Your designer will work with your builder/contractor to ensure your selections are installed according to your design plans.

Step 5: Site Visits

After all selections have been made and materials have been ordered, your designer will periodically check in with progress at the site. Depending on the scope of work for your project, you can expect 3-5 site visits from your designer over the course of construction. AlliBeth and select vendors provide floor plans, tile pattern drawings, built-in feature drawings, and 3D cabinetry renderings for your contractor/builder.  We value a teamwork approach to all of our new construction and renovation projects, focusing on open communication, timely problem solving, and a high level of professionalism between designer and contractor/builder. Our end goal is to make sure that you, our client, is completely satisfied.
